One of the things we like most is the versatility of the sliding scale for workpiece holding and cutting aggressiveness allows the programmer to fine tune speeds and feeds.

In a machine shop time is money. Saving 3 hours on machining a single part will greatly impact the bottom line.

We have a cast iron piece 8.0 x 5.0 x 3.0. The old way took 3.5 hours to machine. Using the new VoluMill path I was able to take a full depth of cut and reduce machining time to 30 minutes!

Our shop has older equipment and mostly does small quantity runs. So investing in new software is a big consideration. I can say that we are extremely happy
with the results.
